From the first
question to the
final delivery

Emika covers the whole arc: understanding an audience, building the idea, making the work, and putting it where it will be seen. Take all of it, or step in at the point where you need us.

01

Market research &
creative strategy

The part that decides whether everything after it is worth doing.

We start by finding out what is actually true about the audience, the category and the moment — then turn that into a proposition sharp enough to build a campaign or a film on. Strategy here is not a deck that gets filed; it is the argument the creative team has to answer to.

  • Audience, category and competitor research
  • Positioning, proposition and messaging frameworks
  • Creative platforms and campaign territories
  • Concept testing before production spend

02

Branding &
marketing campaigns

Identity and campaigns that hold together everywhere they appear.

A brand system is only worth having if it survives contact with real use — a poster, a 6-second cut-down, a shopfront, a Facebook post. We build identities with that pressure in mind, and run the integrated campaigns that carry them.

  • Brand identity, logo systems and guidelines
  • Key art, campaign design and collateral
  • Integrated campaign development across channels
  • Launch planning and rollout support

03

Television commercial
production

Broadcast-grade commercials, script to delivery.

The same crew disciplines that made a feature film work at 116 minutes apply at thirty seconds — casting, blocking, lighting, sound and a grade that survives compression. We deliver every length and aspect ratio the media plan asks for, from the master down to the cut-downs.

  • Concept, script and storyboard
  • Direction, casting, locations and shoot management
  • Edit, colour grade, sound mix and music
  • Versioning and broadcast delivery specs

04

Film & video
production

Long-form work, made the way long-form work has to be made.

Father is the clearest example: a period feature drawn from real events, shot largely at Ranminithenna, cut to 1 hour 56 minutes, and released to LKR 250 million worldwide in 25 days. Alongside it we make music videos, live concert films and documentary content — the Swarale 2023 sessions run to more than an hour a piece.

  • Feature development, production and post
  • Music videos and lyric videos
  • Multi-camera live capture and concert films
  • Documentary, corporate and branded content

05

Media planning

Deciding where the work runs, and being able to answer for it.

Planning belongs in the brief, not bolted on once the film is cut. We set the channel mix and the schedule against the objective, support the buying, and track what came back — so the next round of work starts from evidence rather than instinct.

  • Channel strategy and scheduling
  • Buying support and negotiation
  • Campaign tracking and performance reporting

Related creative
services

The work that surrounds a launch once it meets an audience.

Premieres, press screenings, meet-and-greets, social content series and photography. For Father we produced the premiere film, eleven press-screening interviews and the meet-and-greet coverage in Havelock City and Kandy — all in-house.

  • Premiere, press and event coverage
  • Social and digital content series
  • Stills photography and key art

How it runs

Four stages,
no handovers

The value of a single house is that nothing gets lost between briefs. The people who set the strategy stay on it through the grade.

  1. Stage 01

    Understand

Research the audience and the category. Agree what success actually looks like before anything is designed.

  2. Stage 02

    Build the idea

Strategy into proposition, proposition into a creative platform. Tested before it becomes a production budget.

  3. Stage 03

    Make it

Pre-production, shoot and post, run by the same team that argued for the idea in the first place.

  4. Stage 04

Put it in front of people

Media planning, launch and event support, then reporting on what the work actually did.
